If you choose to receive a treatments with us, offered at the clinic, you will be asked for a case history which will include information like medical history, any medication you are taking, recent or previous surgeries, if you are pregnant or on blood thinners etc. For example certain points are contraindicated during pregnancy. You will be asked for any information that may be relevant to your treatment even if you think it is not important.
The details above are necessary to ensure that treatment is safe to provide and is also needed for insurance purposes.
It is a legal requirement that Data must be retained for 7 years after the date of your first treatment or 7 years from the date you turned 18 if you was under 18 when you where first treated. This is a legal contract, that is, the information is given for legal reasons so that we can proceed with your treatment. You do not have to share your personal data with us, but we cannot offer you any treatment if you choose not to. You must fulfill your side of the contract by sharing your personal information in order for us to fulfill our side of the contract and carry out treatment. Your information is confidential and kept secure and treated with the utmost professionalism.
Payment in return for services

The payment in return for the services takes into consideration the price of any materials such as Acupuncture needles, hire of facilities, overheads and the years of training and financial cost required to provide such service. The charges of services may be subject to change based on some of these considerations and discussed with all parties involved. The fees will be listed on the website, special-offers or negotiated and agreed in writing or electronically between client and practitioner. The prices are usually set out on the website or stated in some other format, such as in a list of prices for different services provided. The rates will be current at the date of order or at such time as agreed in writing or electronically. Prices for services provided may be a fixed price or a standard rate. Changes specified in no uncertain terms such as limited offers or stating date of expiry of the offer. However, if
there is the uncertainty of the price, then these should be discussed between client and practitioner.

Payment for services provided must be made previous to the delivery of services or immediately after the service provided subject to agreement. In exceptional circumstances, provision for an extended agreed time may be acceptable so long as it is within 30 days of the invoice. You will be required to make payments in full by credit or debit card or cash or another suitable payment method. If the loss of hours due to a missed appointment occurs, a deposit in whole or part payment may be requested. Usually, a courteous 24 hrs notice is sufficient or reasonable effort to cancel the appointment, such as extenuating circumstances at the provider's discretion.
